School Reunions Friday, 05 February 2010 21:30 Carver-Stephens Reunions are held every three years. Friends and family are welcome. We especially invite former Carver students who graduated from Stephens. Let’s hear it for the Road Runners. The last Carver students graduated from Stephens in 1982.

Old Carver High Friday, 05 February 2010 21:35 This is a July 2009 view of Stephens Elementary School (Formerly Carver High School). Carver High School was built in 1951 and held its first graduation exercises in May of 1952. The Class of 1970 was the last class to graduate.

Athletic Field Friday, 05 February 2010 21:40 Stephens Elementary School (Formerly Carver High). Carver High students were transferred to Stephens High and Carver became Stephens Elementary School. Carver's mascot was the King Cobra and the official school colors were black and gold.

First Reunion


The first Carver School Reunion was held Saturday and Sunday, July 3-4, 1982. The school was built in 1951 and held its first graduation exercises in May of 1952. Registration for the reunion was held at the former Carver High School, now the Stephens Elementary School, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday with approximately two hundred persons signing the register.

Reunion Stuff

The Carver-Stephens Reunions are held every three years. On July 2-5, 2009, we held our tenth triennial reunion. By all accounts, it was a terrific success. Photos are posted in the Reunion Photo Gallery.
